Okay so I'm just racking up the loserpoints right now, but I just decided I want to learn how to quilt. Although I shall probably have to learn from some old granny, old granny quilts isn't what I have in mind. I saw a picture of a really cute quilt with daisy-shaped piecings and bright colours that was very cute and very mod. and then the room was decorated with homemade paintings with the same daisies. it was soooo cute. I'd love to be able to do that by the time my little girl is done with her current crib set! (which i bought like, yesterday, so that gives me time, haha)
and i mean i could even make something cool for myself using brown and blue, which is what i want to do my bedroom in. A chocolate and a light blue. yummers.
Oh, I just totally reminded myself that I have to finish fixing the cloche hat i crocheted for my niece, I have to make it bigger... I should take a picture when I'm done and post it here, I'm pretty proud, I designed it myself, didn't use a pattern. yay me.
WIP on a cute drawing I did on paper, tomorrow I'll scan and colour it, pretty happy with it. Also, I ordered a print of that photo of my baby girl where I put it b/w with the blue eyes for myself in the biggest size possible from DA. I can't wait until it arrives. <3

oh yeah. And if you haven't watched Hotel Rwanda you should. It's a good movie about that attempted genocide in africa in '94. I think the movie is very well done, you're horrified but because of the atrocity not because of the gore. Tastefully portrays a horrible event in a meaningful way. I'm not normally into the meaningful movies, I prefer comedies and brain fluff, I won't pretend otherwise, but I really liked this one.
